EverAnswer ("we", "us", or "our") operates the EverAnswer AI phone receptionist service, accessible at everanswer.io and app.everanswer.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and business information.
Payment information: Billing and payment details are processed securely by Stripe. EverAnswer does not store your full credit card number.
Call data: When callers contact your EverAnswer phone number, we collect the caller's phone number, call duration, call recordings, and transcripts of the conversation.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use the dashboard, including pages visited and features used.
Business content: Any content you upload to your Agent Knowledge Base, including documents and website URLs.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, EverAnswer requests access to create, read, and manage calendar events solely to check your availability and book appointments on your behalf when a caller requests one during a call. We do not access, modify, or delete any other calendar data, sharing settings, or other calendars in your Google account.
Who we share this data with: EverAnswer does not sell, rent, or disclose Google user data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data obtained through this integration is shared only with the service providers EverAnswer uses to operate (see Section 4 — currently Supabase for secure storage and Railway for server processing), strictly as needed to provide the scheduling feature. These providers are contractually bound to only use this data to provide services to EverAnswer and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
AI processing: When checking availability during a call, limited calendar availability information (open/busy time slots) may be processed in real time by our AI conversation system (Google Gemini) solely to offer appointment times to the caller. This data is not used to train or improve any general-purpose AI/ML models.
You can disconnect this integration at any time from your EverAnswer dashboard, which revokes EverAnswer's access to your Google account. EverAnswer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
EverAnswer records and transcribes phone calls handled by your AI agent. By using EverAnswer, you agree to notify your callers that their calls may be recorded, as required by applicable law. Call recording laws vary by state — some states require all parties to consent to recording. You are responsible for compliance with applicable recording laws in your jurisdiction.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Call logs, recordings, and transcripts are retained for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel your account, you may request deletion of your data by emailing hello@everanswer.io.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@everanswer.io. We will respond within 30 days.
EverAnswer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of EverAnswer after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
